inSPYRAtion II
InSPYRAtion II is lucky to come after InSPYRAtion. This daring project, initiated within the framework of WorldWideWindow, was held in Berlin on May 8th-10th 2019 connection with Superbooth.
inSPYRAtion I
Wolfram Spyra is a determinant of quality in electronic music. His albums are also the touchstone of all the aesthetics that Spyra adapts to his music.
Requiem
This album offers a gamut of emotions, varying from fragile melodies to Heavy Analogue Sequencing, from sacred moments to vast industrial soundscapes.
Overture
Folk Melodies, street sounds, pulsing rhythms, white singing; unique combination of acoustic instruments with electronics, all this can be all this can be described as progressive FolkTronica style...
SeQuest
Superb album. Dream music with synthesizers and a lot of sequencing / arpeggios. One of my favourites.
ADSR (Remix)
This 25-minute EP (a limited edition of 500 copies) contains the track “ADSR” in four different mixes. Three are by Spyra, the other is done by Ashra’s Steve Baltes.
Virtual Vices V
There isn't a weak track on this album. This is my favorite of the Virtual Vices series. (review jackthetab)
Virtual Vices VI
The jazz-rock feeling in the music became more intensified and received a more UK touch. This CD could be called “Return to the Future,” as it is an advanced modern-day take on jazz-rock fusion.
Headphone Concert
First fully featured Live Headphone Concert on the European mainland, recorded summer 2002 featuring Spyra, Jochen Krajewski, Robert Golla, JoMar Gardena and Chris Lang
Achtundsechzig 24
A splendid album where fluid rhythms and flexible permutations are molding in a divine melodious approach
Virtual Vices IV
This is not only their most balanced, but also their best work so far. Both musicians present themselves in a very coordinated dialogue with each other and meet high standards of virtuosity.
Virtual Vices III
After hearing the real audio excerpt on 2350.org, I had high expectations for this album. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed.
Virtual Vices II
Pete and Wolfram introduce the Steel Cello with its quite expressive haunting drone sound here... creating a really cool industrial flair.
Virtual Vices I
Just got Virtual Vices, and am very impressed. Kuhlman and Spyra manage to create a loose, jazzy atmosphere without disappearing into noodling hell a la JCIV. (Andrew Ross)
