An old reel-to-reel tape recorder and simple table are used as sculptural elements in the third work within the Breitenau series. The scene, evoking that of a setting for an interrogation, takes as a point of reference the development of the reel-to-reel during the second World War.
Historic sound documents mixed with a soundscape composition were played through a device embedded within the recorder. The tape comes to an end but the right reel continues to revolve relentlessly invoking an everlasting echo which can't be erased.
